Be aware that when ordering a life vest, the vest should fit snugly. There should be no excess space between your person and the life jacket. Extra space can allow the vest to slide around, or create more pressure during a fall. When testing in the water, the jacket should stay firmly against the body and not slide up, if it does, the life vest is too large. Keep in mind a life jacket may stretch out over time, and may become more comfortable and form-fitting as it wears!
